One responder, several channels: designed, not built

The idea

Most small businesses answer the same dozen questions every week, in three different places, and lose the ones that arrive at the wrong hour. The plan is one responder that handles them wherever they arrive:

• On the website, as a chat.
• Over email, answering the same questions in the same words.
• When it does not know an answer, it hands the question to you rather than inventing one.
• Your reply is added to what it knows, so the next person who asks gets it straight away.
• Social channels after that, on the same principle: one place that knows the answers, several doors into it.

Where it actually is

Designed. Not built. There is no working version, no price, no date and no waiting list, and this page will say so until that stops being true.

The one piece of this that does exist and does work is the phone demo. Ask us and we send you the line. Everything else on this page is intention.

Why it is on the site at all

Because the alternative is describing it vaguely in a sales conversation, which is how a roadmap turns into a promise. Written down, with its status attached, it is a plan you can hold us to. If you have an opinion about what it should do, or a question your business gets asked forty times a week that you would happily never answer again. We would like to hear it.

And beyond that

The longer direction is tools for trades generally: whatever a specific trade repeatedly needs and cannot buy, we would rather build than describe. That is a direction, not an offer, and nothing in it has a price.
